The Fall 2018 BHI Colloquium Series began on Tuesday, September 4. Senior researchers, visiting scholars, and graduate students gathered for lunch and a lively discussion of their summer research seasons. BHI Director Abraham Loeb hosted the conversation, as participants summarized recent work. Multiple disciplines were included, particularly Astronomy, Mathematics, and Philosophy, allowing for cross-pollenization of ideas within the BHI community.
The Fall series is nearly booked, with speakers from across the region. Several international scholars are scheduled as well, making this BHI Colloquium Series a unique opportunity to learn more about novel Black Hole research. Please consult the calendar of Events for upcoming speaker dates.
