Description

An Invitation to Self-Dual Gravity

In this talk, we will review various aspects of an integrable subsector of general relativity known as self-dual gravity. We will discuss its relation to twistor space and how this connection has enabled recent explorations of holographic dualities involving self-dual field theories. We will also highlight how self-dual gravity admits solutions resembling black holes—so-called self-dual black holes—and how these might fit into such holographic dualities.
