Black hole blasts may transform ‘mini-Neptunes’ into rocky worlds

BHI Director, Avi Loeb and Collaborator, John Forbes are featured in the Harvard Gazette highlighting a collaboration with Howard Chen from Northwestern University on research predicting that Neptune-like planets located near the center of the Milky Way were transformed into rocky planets by outbursts generated by the nearby supermassive black hole.
