Brandon is doing his doctoral work in the Astronomy Department. He works with Professor Narayan on general relativistic radiation magnetohydrodynamics simulations of super-Eddington black hole accretion disks. Such simulations are relevant to many astrophysical phenomena. He is currently studying tidal disruption event accretion disks and the growth of supermassive black holes.
