I am a graduate student in the Astronomy department at Harvard University. I work with the Event Horizon Telescope to form images from Very-Long-Baseline interferometry data that allow us to test Einstein's theory of general relativity. In particular, I image both real and synthetic data to understand the structure of black holes and the behavior of the EHT array. I also use imaging results and other geometrical methods to guide where and how the future Event Horizon Telescope should expand. Ultimately, I aim to resolve time-domain structures in SgrA* and M87 that will elucidate strong-field general relativistic magnetohydronamics near the event horizon.
